Day 5 Friday

What a busy last day including bushcraft skills, abseiling, earthwalk as well as team problem solving tasks in the woods which were very challenging for us all.

A fantastic week, well done to all the children who have all tried so hard to go out of their comfort zones and learn many new skills this week. I hope you all enjoy the weekend sharing stories about the Bowles adventure.

We look forward to sharingDSC02363 DSC02367 DSC02381 DSC02387 with you at an assembly on Wednesday 30th at 9.05 in the hall.

Day 4 Thursday

Today Amazing A and Brilliant B teams have been together kayaking near Tonbridge, great fun and games had by all. This evening last ski lesson and a visit from Mr Sullivan who enjoyed taking to the slopes. Thanks Blackboys children  for all your letters. We look forward to meeting up on Shine Day next Thursday.DSC02294DSC02284DSC02303DSC02313

Day 3 Wednesday

Hooray a glorious sunny day at last. Everyone has had another challenging day either orienteering , rock climbing, pool kayaking, abseiling and making a fire. Skiing lesson 2 has meant less falls and further up the slope for many of the children, amazing success. DSC02195 DSC02213 DSC02244 DSC02258

Day 2 Tuesday

Heavy rain again but very determined children have really persevered today in many activities including pool kayaking, low ropes, zip wire and teamwork night challenges. All the children have had their first ski lesson and despite a few tumbles all managing to do ‘pizza and chips’ down the first slope and use the button drag lift.

Everyone really tired tonight after a great day. Will try to get photos downloaded asap.

We ended our week at pgl as we started it – by getting wet! I hope the children have been sharing lots of stories with you. Thanks for following and leaving your comments. Hopefully we’ll see you on Monday!
